Disk Director 10 Install issue

Hi
I have just installed DD latest version 10 and when prompted to reboot the screen stopped at "Starting Acronis Loader Press ESC for menu". Pressing ESC does nothing and restarting the machine gets back to the same black screen with the above message. How do I remedy this? Bearing in mind this was the first reboot and I haven't got a ver 10 rescue disk.

Thank you for your interest in Acronis Disk Management Software (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/diskdirector/).

Please try to fix your MBR as it is described in the Acronis Help Post (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=55317). Thus you will disable Acronis OS Selector. However it is recommended to deactivate Acronis OS Selector by means of the Rescue Bootable media.
