View Full Version : Corrupt files in archive

I am using TI 9 build 2,277. I recently backed up a hard drive to an image file. Afterwords, when I restored the My Documents folder, the files were corrupt. They were simple Wordpad documents and the originals, which I manually made copies of, were fine. In addition, when I tried to restore and open the Address Book, it appeared to be corrupt because it would just open blank and the entire Address Book window would "flicker" and the hourglass would stay up.

So, in short, I am not sure I can trust this program. Is this a known issue? Is there a fix?

Thanks,
Brian

Hello axslinger,

Thank you for choosing Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

This issue and many others are fixed in the latest build (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/support/updates/) of Acronis True Image 9.0. We are really sorry for any inconveniences experienced when using the early builds of the product.

Thank you.
