In case users of Spyware Doctor notice a new tool called SDNet. Here is what it is. This is from the Spyware Doctor Team.
"What is the Spyware Doctor Network (SDNet)?
SDNet allows Spyware Doctor users to actively participate in aiding the
fight against Spyware, by returning selected information to PC Tools for
analysis. PC Tools takes privacy considerations very seriously, and will
never use the gathered information for anything but the specific
analysis. The user has full control over whether information is sent to
PC Tools, and can op-in or opt-out at any time. The utility can even be
permanently de-activated should the user not wish to participate in
SDNet.
By default, SDNet is set to prompt the user before it submits any
information back to PC Tools, and will never perform any action without
reference to the user unless it has been specifically set to do so.
How does SDNet work?
SDNet examines your system for information of interest to PC Tools in
the fight against spyware. The utility checks the PC Tools servers
periodically to update the information required.
Spyware Doctor users can be of huge assistance in aiding the fight
against spyware, adware and other malicious software just by enabling
the Spyware Doctor Network."
SD is a great product and this is just one more thing to help it become even better.
Thanks,
Chris
