Hi,
I am new to this site and i have a strange problem that i was hoping someone could help me with!> Every time i start my comp i get the windows ''new hardware detection display'', but the strange thing is that i havnt installed anything new in ages.
But the only thing i have installed is the latest Zonealarm free firewall, which is when this began happening and when i go into device manager (yellow question mark is displayed), the new hardware detected has a strange name that looks alot like the random service names you get with RootkitRevealer 1.56. I have disabled the new device, but i am confused as to what is happening, i am very much a new to computers and would really be glad of any help.
By the way i am running, XP Pro, Patches, AVG7,
ZoneAlarm Free and dial up broadband.
