Log Viewer 1.57 (Build 316) is now available from:
http://home.debitel.net/user/svenschaef/logview/
This release is intended to fix some problems discovered
after the release of Log Viewer 1.56.
Installation:
Any releases (including beta releases) of Log Viewer before LV 1.56 have
to be removed manually before attempting to install this release of Log
Viewer:
1. Open Control Panel
2. Open the "Add or Remove Programs" applet
3. Locate the Log Viewer entry
4. Uninstall Log Viewer
Failing to do so you will end up with duplicated entries for Log Viewer
in the "Add or remove programs" control panel applet and not all
application files/settings may be updated.
SNMP Logging Service (Windows NT/2000/XP):
The SNMP Logging Service will be installed for and run using the
LocalSystem account. The settings for the SNMP Logging Service can be
accessed from the SNMP -> Logging Service page on the Log Viewer
"Options" dialog, only user with administrative privileges are able to
configure the Log Viewer SNMP Logging Service.
