NOD32: heurístics or sandbox

In an article of PcMagazine called "Antivirus:why your antivirus program won´t catch the next attack", they say there is three kind of antivirus detection method:

Signatures, Heuristics and Sandbox... I thought Sandbox was heurístics...

So, what kind of detection method does nod32 use, Signatures and heurístics, signature and sandbox, or the three types?
