Stingray Hardware firewall?

What do you think of Stingray hardware firewall at :

Does it at any new layer of protection? Is it effectif? What do you think of it (and the technologie use)?

What is the difference between Alpha shield ( http://www.alphashield.com ) and Stingray? Wich one would you recommend the most and why?

With all due respect , I offer that it is NOT too limited . Port forwarding is not needed anyway . If you use a good firewall , ports are protected and allowed . Port forwarding by itself is not safe .
To answer your questions . Either one is as good as the other . That is only MY opinion based on what I read about Stingray . I use AS and it works well . I also use a router though . Stingray is made in the same contry , costs the same as AS did when it came out and basically works the same way . My opinion is that it is an identical ripoff . Not saying that Stingray is bad . Just choose whichever you think looks the best . I know how well AS works . Stingray LOOKS to work the same way . Find the cheaper and get it . IF you are wanting one of these . If you do not have the cash to do both , I would suggest a router first . AS or Stingray as an addon . If you have a router and use a firewall , neither of these are really needed . Just an opinion and I hope it helps

Port forwarding is necessary if you will ever host any type of service from your machine. Also, the P2P applications don't work nearly as well without this capability. If you read the FAQ on Stingray's site, they don't support any inbound connections. Not acceptable for most people.
