star downloader help

hi all

since i found the link for star downloader here i have been using that as my download accelerator and have been happy with it not the best but it does its job and its crud-ware free and free to use so I'm happy until now

because i am having no end of trouble with it because it just refuses to connect to the files that i try to download now i don't think its got anything to do with za coz it wont connect even if i got za switched off so does anyone know wtf is going on

coz if i cant find out whats causing this and fix it it means ill have to rely on the windows download and that got no save date option which means if I'm downloading and i get cut off like happened to me tonight i have to start all over again and that a pain the the butt especially when its a big file so does anyone know whats going on either that or another free crud-ware free download accelerator

any help would be appreciated

can't help, but to point to www.metaproducts.com for download express (IE only I think) Free and without ads, spyware or any other troubles. I do recommend this. Just trust me I guess :)

I have used StarDownldr for a long time. Make sure you have the most recent version as there was a version or two that sucked. I am using V1.22 and it rips. Uninstall it and reinstall newer version. There is "check for newer version" and low and behold a V1.24 is available...

I've had 15 simultaneous downloads going all at break neck speed while continuing to surf.

Poor Nod32 got a workout of workouts during that run but held up as the true champ it is.....version 1 too.

Zappa i have the newest version of star 1.42 and thats the 1 thats not working which is odd it worked before maybe just a bad version or something on my comp ill wait till the next version and see if that works i hope so coz i like star it rules
