Hi

I upgraded to TI9.

I don't really have regrets doing so - but of course if I knew the situation i wouldn't have upgraded just yet, until the problems are resolved.

However I feel sure they will be resolved and TI9 will be a great product.

My question is - where are we at at the moment? What builld is released and what issues are outstanding?

I want to wait till the majority of issues are fixed before downloading another version, as it is a 40MB download on dial-up.

I also really can't be bothered rolling back to TI8 if it's only going to be a week or two. I back up my data seperately anyway.

Thanks for any indications of where we are at, and if I should wait for a while yet,

Lauchlan M

Hi, Lauchlan Mackinnon

The Current Build of Ti9 that is on the Acronis Download Page is #2277.

That is much harder to answer because not all posters with problem[s] , have the same problem[s].

I myself only have problems with the BootCD [That is probably because I only use the BootCD for Creating the BackUp and Restoring of Image[s]], which the main one is not being able to password protect the Image the other being Ti reporting it as [i]finished creating the Image with errors which is wrong as there are no errors.

I am currently stuck with build #2277

Looking at the posts here I too wish I would have waited, I have many many hours into trying everything to get an image that's NOT corrupted. I have studied these posts since my problem was identical and tried every workaround.

It seems there is not much anyone can do since Acronis has posted that they are aware of the issues and they will be resolved in the next release.

For me Acronis couldn't have picked a worst time to have a dud, it's my first experience with them and sorry to say I will probably never do business with them again. I just hope I can get my money back.
