How to stop autoplay after plug in?

Hi,

How do I prevent autoplay from running when I plug in an image. I don't want this. I don't need a window popping up every time asking to choose an application. I also don't need explorer to start by itself after a plugin.

I have other software working with virtual devices, there it works fine after I plug a source (whatever it is) in.

I suppose this can be done? I hope some one can help me?

You can turn off AutoPlay for any drive letter using TweakUI (screen dump is for TweakUI XP v2.10.0.0). Drive folder still opens when you plug, but the autoplay is off.

Or you can hold down the Shift key until the device/volume has been recognized...
