Using Acronis True Image 9.0 you are able to restore the image to a brand new hard drive even if it doesn't have operating system, file system or even if it was just purchased an hour before.

You should boot the computer from the Acronis Bootable Media and then the program restores the hard drive contents from the image without requiring reinstallation of the operating system on the computer.
