SG1

About at end of NOD32 trial ver., and in fact pd. for full ver. tonight and am waiting for info re download of full commercial ver.
But, still, I wondered: in NOD32 proper, under methods of scanning... um, can anyone show me a screenshot of how you have it setup, & show types of scan/s setup, or what you may deem best re tradeoffs in security vs speed of scan, what's easiest on memory and/or cpu usage, etc.(?)
Thanks for info, SG1 (Pat)

Paul;
I don't have a screen capture program; what should I get for that, & where from?

ScreenHunter is a nice freeware app for these purposes; here's the direct download link:
www.wisdomsoft.com/downloads/setupscreenhunterfree.exe (http://www.wisdomsoft.com/downloads/setupscreenhunterfree.exe)

Paul;
Re your link, it took me to...
"The page cannot be found

Another link, perhaps, for that?
Thanks for info, SG1 (Pat)

Paint will do fine... Activate the window you want a capture of, and press ALT+PrintScreen. Startup Paint and paste (ctrl+v), then save the image. In newer versions of Paint (atleast in XP), you can then save the image as BMP, GIF, JPG, PNG or TIF.
If you want a capture of the whole screen instead of the actual window, just press PrintScreen.

Anders,

FYI: BMP uploads are not allowed over here - matter of loading time and space ;).

I like MWSNap, from here: http://www.mirekw.com/ . Free and simple (both of which are always a BIG plus here! <g> ).
As Paul says, though, use jpg captures (or anything other than bmp. ). Pete

Well, you could just follow the instructions in our FAQ regarding the posting of screen shots - no extra software, or much effort required. ;)

OK - he's back, & he's bad! <g>
Thanks to Pilli, LowWatermark, for private notes and to Pieter and Paul and all here on board, as always: love this site as all are always so quick to help. "Bless us, one and all, Tiny Tim." ;-)
IF this works, here's screenshot of NOD32 as I've it setup now: the query was, do I have the bases fairly well covered, w/settings I've chosen?
Many thanks, again, SG1 (Pat)

I would recommend enabling runtime packers in Diagnostic Methods first and foremost; enabling archives is a matter of choice. Mail archives do seem overkill to me.
