Dongles and other USB devices when imaging.

I've just had my system reinstalled and about to take an image with my soon to be purchased TI.

Is it normal procedure to remove all USB devices before taking an image or doesn't it make any difference? I only ask because if some time in the future you wanted to restore that image and for some reason didn't have these devices anymore, would it cause a problem?

After reading the forum I'm a bit wary of buying TI 9.0 but can anyone point me in the direction of how or where I can download TI 8.0 b973 because I can only see downloads for TI 9.0 at Acronis?

There no big difference in how you create image (with USB devices or without). You should not have a problem to restore this image to computer that hasn't USB devices.

All the problems with Acronis True Image 9.0 will be resolved in the short time.
