Features: UPDATE: Ad-Aware Checker updated to v1.2 to cover the new Ad-Aware v5.8. Features of Ad-Aware Checker: - Watches silently in the background until malicious (or potentially malicious) action is taken against Ad-Aware files. (The main Ad-Aware executable and the reflist.) - Is very small, and thus uses up little memory when running. - You can specify the scanning interval. - Checks for changes to files - not just if the files get deleted. (So rogue programs can't delete themselves from the Ad-Aware reference list so they aren't detected.) - You can now specify what version of Ad-Aware you have (i.e. 5.7 or below OR 5.8 or above) to ensure complete protection for the different versions.

A recent program by the name of RadLight caused the creation of this program (RadLight deleted Ad-Aware silently without warning on startup!).
Since many more spyware-filled programs will probably, unfortunately, take this course of action against the great program Ad-Aware, Ad-Aware Checker was made to deal with the threat.
