Rats! I misspelled "Which" as "Whick" in the title & I can't find a way to change it. Ah well, upward & onward...

I daily use Timeshift to backup (BU) my system files.

I am installing Grsync to BU my personal files. If I BU all the files listed in "Home," I *think* that will include ALL my personal files. Am I correct?

Hey, bellgamin, have you upgraded to Zorin version 17 yet? If so, have you noticed any difference?
    Thanks, Acadia

    Hi bellgamin,
Yes, if all your personal files are in Home, that should be correct.
If your username is bellgamin, in Grsync\ Basic options, for Source you can select /home/bellgamin

N.B. In case you have a Destination drive (to sync to) which is part of Home, for instance: /home/bellgamin/backup, you would need to exclude that.
An easy way to do that is in Grsync\ Basic options to select "Do not leave filesystem".
Another, different, way would be to add an exclusion in Grsync\ Advanced options\ Additional options: --exclude bellgamin/backup

Furthermore, I noticed a few files (in the portable version of XnView MP) were not synced.
It turned out that in Grsync\ Advanced options I had to select "Copy symlinks as symlinks", to sync those files as well.

@Acadia -- I do not yet use Zorin 17.1. I'm still using 16.3 Pro. It runs great so I hesitate to upgrade until I'm *fairly* certain that the newer version is reasonably stable. I checked the Zorin Forum to see if 17.1 was causing any issues. I found only a few had been posted. That's a good sign, so far, BUT that's a rather tiny sample. So I just now asked the forum for if there are any specific reasons to upgrade 16.3 to 17.

@Stupendous Man -- I don't know if all my personal files are in Home. I assume they are because I have never knowingly made a personal file anywhere except within Home. So I suppose my question should have been...

=>Does Linux always put user's personal files into the Home directory?

I understand you use Zorin OS. As Zorin is based on Ubuntu, I suppose all personal files are in the Home directory. But as I am not accustomed to Zorin, I think it would be better if someone who knows about Zorin could answer your question.
